Welcome to our Carlsbad, San Diego surf school website for all your surfing school needs. This site will have information on private or group surfing lessons and surf camps at our Carlsbad surf school. Our surf camps, surf lessons, and surfboard / bodyboard / SUP rentals are located at North Carlsbad State Beach. We are fully staffed in Carlsbad from 9:30 AM – 5 PM Mon – Fri starting June 1st. Please contact us for weekend surf lessons. WE DO PROVIDE SURF LESSONS YEAR ROUND!
Learn to Surf in Carlsbad
Carlsbad Surf Lessons, the premiere surf school in the Southern California, offers private lessons, group surf lessons, and surf camps on the best beginner waves in San Diego. We specialize in teaching all levels of surfing from first timers to advanced surfers. Our instructors are experienced surfers, trained in first-aid and CPR, and are life-long residents of Carlsbad. Many of our instructors grew up surfing in Carlsbad and offer unparalleled local knowledge. We also have top professional surfers Che Stang and Rusty Friesen giving daily lessons. Students will learn basic surfing fundamentals, as well as ocean awareness, water safety, wave riding skills, and surf etiquette.
